Our Therapy Services
At nutrio pediatric therapy, we offer comprehensive speech and feeding therapy services tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. We believe that play is the strongest way to learn and develop new skills. We strive to work with families to empower them to feel confident in supporting their child's development.
Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing
Mealtimes should be a time of connection, growth, and joy—but for many families, feeding and swallowing can feel stressful, overwhelming, or even scary. At Nutrio Pediatric Therapy, we specialize in helping children build the skills they need to eat safely, explore new foods, and enjoy mealtimes with confidence.
Who We Support
We work with infants and children who experience:
-
Difficulty transitioning to solids or new textures
-
Limited food acceptance or extreme picky eating
-
Medical complexities impacting feeding
-
Oral motor delays
-
Concerns with growth, weight gain, or nutrition
-
Stressful or prolonged mealtimes
-
Tube weaning
*Please note: we do not have specialized training in lactation or bottle feeding. If your child is having difficulty with breast or bottle feeding, feel free to reach out and we can help connect you with a specialized provider.

Language Delays
Communication is at the heart of connection. When a child has difficulty expressing themselves or understanding others, it can impact their confidence, learning, and relationships. At Nutrio Pediatric Therapy, we specialize in supporting children with language delays so they can find their voice and thrive.
Who We Support
We work with children who experience:
-
Delayed first words or limited vocabulary
-
Difficulty combining words into phrases and sentences
-
Trouble following directions or understanding questions
-
Challenges with social communication or play skills
-
Limited progress with traditional therapy approaches
*Please note: we do not have specialized training in speech sound disorders, or when children have difficulty pronouncing certain words and sounds. If your child has difficulty with pronunciation, feel free to reach out and we can help connect you with a specialized provider.

Alternative & Augmentative Communication (AAC)
Every child deserves a voice. For some children, spoken words aren’t enough—or aren’t yet possible—to express their thoughts, needs, and ideas. Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) offers another way to communicate, empowering children to connect with their families, friends, and communities.
Who We Support
We work with children who:
-
Are non-speaking, minimally speaking, or partially speaking
-
Have motor or medical conditions that make speech difficult
-
Benefit from visual supports, communication boards, or speech-generating devices
-
Need additional tools to participate fully in daily routines and learning
-
Use AAC as part of a total communication approach (speech, signs, gestures, and devices together)
